After spending 10 years on the streets, U.S. Army veteran Mike found a new beginning at Veterans Park, a National CORE community in Pomona. With the support of Hope through Housing and his community at Veterans Park, Mike has rebuilt his life and found a place to call home. “This place to me is nothing less than a godsend,” he says. “If it wasn’t for this place, I don’t know what I would have done. They saved me.”
After years of uncertainty, Gloria began saving through Hope through Housing’s Money Match program. With small, consistent steps – and a lot of courage – she’s now on the path to owning her first home.
When Teretha lost her longtime home, she feared starting over. But with the help of Hope through Housing, she found a new place to live – and the health support she needed to truly begin healing.

Where Hope Takes Root and Children Rise to Greatness
In Fort Worth, Texas, a new space is giving kids the chance to dream bigger and reach higher. The Eric Dickerson Learning Center, created in partnership with Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson and the ED29 Foundation, is designed to give children what every child deserves – a place to feel safe, to be curious and to believe in themselves.
An enrichment program that accompanies and expands on our traditional after-school program, the Eric Dickerson Learning Center allows kids to dive into hands-on learning, discover their talents and build confidence through encouragement and connection. They’re supported by mentors who care and are surrounded by a community that sees their potential – even when they might not yet see it themselves.
