The Daniel R. Fauske Founders Award, National CORE’s most prestigious honor, is named for Daniel R. Fauske, a tireless advocate whose leadership at the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation set a national standard for affordable housing. This award recognizes individuals whose lifelong commitment reflects that same vision and dedication to building stronger communities.
This year, we are proud to bestow the Daniel R. Fauske Founders Award upon Frank Williams, a leader whose career has embodied these very ideals. For more than three decades, Frank has championed the causes of housing and economic opportunity, leading the Baldy View Chapter of the Building Industry Association and later serving as chairman of the San Bernardino County Housing Authority Board of Directors. His ability to bring together business, civic and nonprofit leaders has left a profound impact on the Inland Empire, helping thousands of families access the promise of safe, affordable housing and the pathways to a better life.
“Frank’s leadership has always been about people – ensuring families had both a roof over their heads and a future filled with opportunity,” said Jeffrey S. Burum, co-founder and chairman of National CORE. “He has been a trusted partner, mentor and advocate, and his dedication has left a permanent mark on our communities.”
Even in retirement, Frank continues to shape the future, helping National CORE build vital relationships in Florida as we grow our footprint in the state. His legacy is one of courage, vision and humanity – making him a truly deserving recipient of the Daniel R. Fauske Founders Award.
