Behind the Eric Dickerson Learning Center is a deeply personal story — one of courage, friendship and a strong belief in the power of possibility. Eric Dickerson is known to the world as a Hall of Famer, but those who know him best see a man whose greatest passion lies in giving back. For Eric, this center is more than a vision — it’s a piece of his heart.
As a father, Eric watched his daughter Keri face the challenges of dyslexia with courage and determination. Her journey wasn’t easy, but with the right support and belief, she overcame the odds. Today, her story stands as living proof that when children are given the tools to succeed, there’s no limit to what they can achieve.
This vision came to life through Eric’s longtime friendship with Jeff Burum, founder of National CORE and Hope through Housing. Together, they shared a dream of building something lasting — a place where children feel seen, supported and free to dream big. A place that reflects the values they’ve lived by: community, compassion and the belief that greatness lives in every child.
