Across Southern California and in Texas, children raced their way into summer during our annual Field Day event – a vibrant celebration marking the end of the school year.
From sack races to splashes from overflowing water buckets, Field Day was more than just fun. It was about teamwork, resilience and camaraderie.
Through the Building Bright Futures program, our after-school programming provides students with a safe, nurturing space to grow – academically, mentally and emotionally.
Studies show that team building activities help foster communication, develop problem solving skills, and nurture empathy and compassion.
Field Day is a perfect example of what happens when young people feel supported, connected and free to just be kids. It’s a joyful reminder of the power of play – and the strength of the community.
