Hope through Housing and National CORE strive to transform lives and communities by utilizing affordable housing as a platform for elevating the health, well-being and self-sufficiency of low-income individuals and families. Central to this mission is connecting residents with the tools and guidance to develop living-wage careers.

What Is CORE Academy?

CORE Academy is a workforce development and career training program designed to help residents build skills for long-term economic mobility. The program connects residents with training, guidance, and career pathways that support self-sufficiency and long-term stability.

To help address the growing need for talent in the property management industry, CORE Academy was created to offer the opportunity for individuals with no experience in property management to be prepared to fill these positions.

Career Training for Property Management and Maintenance

Applying National CORE’s 30 years of experience in the industry, CORE Academy bridges the gap of knowledge and experience, offering entry level courses addressing an array of topics key to entering the growing field of apartment property maintenance.

CORE Academy supports residents who want to enter the workforce, grow their career skills, and prepare for living-wage employment opportunities.

Expanding Career Pathways

CORE Academy will expand to include an array of career paths and resources to empower residents to achieve upward mobility.

Through career training, workforce development, and resident support, CORE Academy helps connect affordable housing residents with opportunities that can strengthen families and communities.
