The Hope through Housing Foundation and National CORE are proud to celebrate the Rauch Family Foundation as our 2025 Community Partner of the Year in recognition of the organization’s generosity, vision and action on behalf of residents of the Inland Empire.
Founded in 1989 by Upland residents Dudley and Cecilia Rauch, the foundation supports global health initiatives, disaster relief and Inland Empire health access and equity.
The foundation’s partnership with Hope through Housing began by supporting development of critically needed services for residents experiencing homelessness. Over the past five years, our collaboration has grown, expanding programs that touch every stage of life – from after-school enrichment for youths and financial literacy for adults to wellness programs for seniors – helping residents thrive and feel truly at home in their communities.
“The Rauch Family Foundation has been instrumental for Hope through Housing – not only in helping us expand program capacity but enabling us to leverage their support to secure additional funding for residents in need,” said Alyssa Cotter, executive director of the Hope through Housing Foundation. “They have been an amazing and invaluable partner.”
The foundation also stepped up to support National CORE’s Oak View Ranch property, closing a funding gap that enabled construction of the development’s senior community to begin. The development’s first phase – Oak View Ranch Family – began serving 119 households in August. Construction is now underway on 81 senior homes.
“The Rauch Family Foundation provided critical funding to push that project to completion,” National CORE Chief Development Officer Alexa Washburn said.
Heather L. Porter, senior program & operations manager for the foundation, described its mission: “We’re all in on the Inland Empire. There’s a lot of wealth in the Inland Empire but people need to give where they live. Our board would like the foundation to be a wave of change – and to spark others to give.”
Through its generosity and vision, the Rauch Family Foundation is supporting services, housing opportunities and inspiring hope across the Inland Empire. We are proud to name the foundation as our 2025 Community Partner of the Year.
