Welcome to the Hope through Housing Foundation!

The Volunteer Group of the Year Award honors people whose hearts lead the way – giving their time, sharing their talents and surrounding our residents with compassion and care. Their service reflects the very heart of our mission: neighbors helping neighbors and lifting others simply because they can.

National CORE and Hope through Housing Foundation are proud to recognize U.S. Bank as the 2026 Volunteer Group of the Year.

U.S. Bank was drawn to Hope through Housing by a shared belief: housing is only the beginning. Strong communities are built when stable homes are joined by economic opportunity, helpful resources and people willing to invest in the lives of others.

That belief has grown into a partnership grounded in personal involvement. “We believe investing our time, talent and expertise alongside financial resources can help create stronger outcomes for nonprofits and the people they serve,” said Mike Kuhn, a U.S. Bank district manager.

Through their involvement, U.S. Bank employees have shared their knowledge, formed genuine connections with residents and made our mission part of their own.

“This recognition belongs to every team member who gave their time, shared their expertise and showed up year after year to support the mission,” Kuhn said. “Volunteering isn’t just about what we give. It’s about the relationships we build and the hope we help create together.”

That personal commitment is what makes U.S. Bank’s partnership so meaningful. National CORE and Hope through Housing are deeply grateful to every employee who has contributed. Their time, care and continued involvement have made a meaningful difference for our residents and demonstrate the important role volunteers play in our mission.
