Delivering Hope for the Holidays

Dec 17, 2019 | After-school Program, Aging in Place, Building Bright Futures, News Releases

Volunteers step up, build community

The holiday season is upon us and the festivities have begun. Often hidden beneath the glow of Christmas lights and bustling shopping centers are organizations and volunteers stepping up to help those less fortunate in our community.

Despite a strong economy and record low unemployment, the Inland Empire continues to be called home to thousands of low-income families and seniors who struggle to make ends meet. Many are parents struggling to provide for their children through a low-wage job and others are seniors living on a Social Security check that barely covers the rent and medications.

Fortunately, during this time of year, we see an outpouring of generosity from individuals, companies and churches in an effort to make this a special season for those in need.

For the Hope Through Housing Foundation, our goal is to deliver hope, build community, and celebrate the season for residents within National CORE’s affordable apartment communities.

How do I pay my rent or set up a payment plan?
You can pay online through your resident portal, by mail, or in person at your community office. If you're worried about a payment, please talk with your property manager early — we'll work with you to find a plan that fits your situation.
How do I submit a maintenance request?
Submit non-urgent requests through your resident portal or at the on-site office. For urgent issues — like a water leak, no heat, or a safety concern — call your community's after-hours line right away.
What programs are available to me as a resident?
Most communities offer Connections to Care, Pathways to Economic Empowerment, after-school learning, and senior wellness programs. Programs vary by site — your resident services coordinator can walk you through what's offered near you.
How do I become a Hope Through Housing resident?
Visit the Communities page to view openings and eligibility. Each community has its own application process. Our team can help you understand the steps, gather what you need, and apply at your own pace.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. We only collect what's needed to support you, store it securely, and never share it without your permission except where the law requires. You can review or update your information any time.
How do I reach a real person for help?
Call your community office during business hours, send a message through the contact form, or visit in person. For after-hours emergencies, use the urgent line posted in your community. We'll respond as soon as we can.
