For many families in our community, the holidays are shaped by difficult choices. Rising costs and economic uncertainty mean parents often must decide between buying food and buying gifts, leaving too many children without meals or presents during a season meant for joy.
This holiday season, Hope through Housing collected new, unwrapped toys and essential food items for families in need. Thanks to generous donations, dozens of toys and enough food will be distributed to support six to eight families. These gifts and food boxes will help ease the burden for families facing food insecurity and ensure children feel seen and celebrated.
Because of you, children experienced joy, families felt support and hope was shared when it mattered most.
This year’s toy and food drive has ended, but our appeal for your support continues. We are hoping to boost donations before Dec. 31 to ensure our programs have the funding they need to continue supporting families in need through 2026.
