Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. – Pacific Western Bank has awarded the Hope through Housing Foundation with an $8,000 grant to help with the Rancho Cucamonga-based nonprofit’s efforts to help residents affected by COVID-19.
“We are so grateful for the dedication of partners like Pacific Western Bank. It is this type of consistent support – especially in times like these – that fuels the crucial work with residents that Hope is committed to,’’ said Gregory Bradbard, President of Hope through Housing Foundation.
In partnership with nonprofit partner, National Community Renaissance (National CORE), Hope through Housing provides a stable living environment for low-income individuals and families who may otherwise be at-risk of homelessness. It provides family stabilization leading to economic mobility through the combination of a secure, affordable apartment home and onsite services/supports that empower adults to overcome barriers to employment and improve their financial situation and prepare youth for future self-sufficiency. Hope through Housing works to utilize affordable housing as a powerful platform for life transformation, empowering residents to reach goals they never previously thought were possible. Hope’s aim is to remove barriers to economic success for vulnerable populations and expand access to economic opportunity in low-income communities by providing a customized mix of services to help affordable housing residents increase their economic mobility and future self-sufficiency.
The Hope through Housing Foundation launched its COVID-19 Emergency Response & Resilience Fund in March in response to the national health crisis. For more information, visit www.hthf.org.
